I, an almost octogenarian, am also unacquainted with SBD. Slava's "a different age altogether" phrase indicates he is a young sprout.
It is dark at night, but the Sun will come up and then we can see.

Let's not get too Blasé about life, else we will fail to leave meaningful footprints across the sands of time. Only hard passionate work can do that.

This thread's a blast! :D

But one thing that disturbs me is a hip-hop-inspired tendency of some to use "blahzay-blah" (as it tends to be spelled) in place of "blah-blah," for speech or words not important enough to specify when referring to a conversation (or written material) after the fact. Probably just substituting blasé for blah -- words that can have similar meanings, but they're just using them as syllables without thinking of where it leads...
