A dirge is a somber song expressing mourning or grief, such as would be appropriate for performance at a funeral. The English word "dirge" is derived from the Latin Dirige, Domine, Deus meus, in conspectu tuo viam meam ("Direct my way in your sight, O Lord my God") , the first words of the first antiphon in the Matins of the Office for the Dead. The original meaning of "dirge" in English referred to this office.

It should be Dirige, Deus mi, in conspectu tuo viam meam.

I couldn't find "Dirige, Deus mi, in conspectu tuo viam meam" in a Web search.

I just know it should be mi because that's the vocative of meus, and it looks like vocative to me there.

The vocative is the same as the nominative with the following exceptions:
Nouns and adjectives ending in 'us' in the nominative end in short 'e' in the vocative: bonus dominus: bone domine
Nouns and adjectives ending in 'ius' in the nominative end in ONE long 'i' in the vocative: filius: fili; Iulius: Iuli
Meus becomes 'mi': meus filius: mi fili; but mea filia: mea filia
