At this time of year we think a lot about education as students head back to school. Often we think of getting educated as being filled with knowledge but the word comes from educere (i think) which is to pull forth.
This implies that we have the knowledge within us and a teacher, or educator, is simply bringing it to our attention.
I thought that was interesting.
