Colorable

Yes, I know, we all know what it means. At least I would have thought so until just a few minutes ago. While its most common meaning is, of course, "capable of being colored," it has other fun uses:

"seemingly valid, true, or genuine; plausible."

"pretended; deceptive."

Origin: 1400–50; late Middle English.
dictionary.com

I vote we use this for pretty much all speeches from politicians.
