eschatological
Is this word used only to refer to the last four things? Has anyone used it or seen it used in a broader sense?

Re: eschatological
I never heard it refer to four things. It always refers simply to last things, which can be either the very final things at the end or the "the end times. " The term for final things is the "eschaton." The discussion of eschatology is highly controversial and can vary from fundamentalist Christians to climate warmers to those fearing nuclear destruction.

Re: eschatological
The four final things: Death, judgment, heaven, hell. But I appreciate that the word is more fluid in usage. Thank you, Perry.
