expletive

Postby William Hupy » Fri Mar 14, 2014 10:35 am

None of you young pups will know this word. It was rampant in the 1970s when recordings of Nixon's conversations in the White House were filled with "expletive deleted". Originally it meant "serving to fill out". It has an ancient beginning and it would be a shame to see it pass into oblivion.
