stigmergy

Postby William Hupy » Mon May 19, 2014 4:47 pm

This word was coined in 1959 from slapping together two Greek words stigma (sign) and ergon (work, action). I am surprised that the corporate world has not glomped onto this because it is defined as the " stimulation of workers by the performance they have achieved." Will this be the new synergy?

I think not. For one, because I don't think many will like the idea of their energy being stigmatized.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
