Re: Happy Banned Books Week
Is there a pig or wolf constituency that rates enough to command a book ban? Some people who want books banned are considered prudes and are thus castigated by a discerning public. All the while, books judged to be politically incorrect are quietly banned in great numbers. Black Sambo wasn't even an African. Tigers aren't native to Africa. But that book got banned anyway.
