I know this idea has come around previously, related to books and their authors, but these are real:

One I saw, in Discover magazine, was a solar scientist with the surname Sunshine.

I once met a young man yclept Gaylord, who stuck out his hand and said, "Hi, I'm Gay!" (He wasn't.)

Then there was the religion prof named Dr. Christian.
