Mystery Word
Years ago I heard my mother use this word, but I have never been able to find it in a dictionary. I don't even know if I'm spelling it correctly, serencified: it's supposed to mean pleasingly full from a good meal. Is this a real word? Thanks. I'm new to this forum, looks interesting though.

It comes up only once in a Google search, a Canadian forum message that has been taken down. This suggests that it is idiolectic, i.e. part of the "dialect" of individuals and not widely known.
I never heard of it in North Carolina, Michigan, or Pennsylvania.

Anything that comes up only once in a Google search can't be all bad ! In any event, the context for its use is the following :
