Basial

Postby Grogie » Tue Dec 30, 2008 6:44 am

I know that, a few months ago, the word of the day was ''osculate'', to kiss. A few days ago I discovered this word(an adjective) related to kissing. The noun is ''basiation''. ''Most people in love enjoy basial activities.''

Some caution in the French: baiser = "to kiss'' but also used in the more earthy (or if you prefer, vulgar) sense depending on context (what we loosely call the F-word). Based on Latin basiare I believe.

I think a better example, during this holiday season, is ''Many people enjoy basial activity under the mistletoe.''
