Attestation

noun form of atttest
Looks like you're a testin' the Ts.

I don't suppose that we can use the noun for a prototype station?

While I generally detest protestation, I must protest!

In today's e-society, wouldn't a prototype station be a betateststation?

Finally, we get some protestation about the silliness...

When the professor started handing out the questions, one student whined that he wasn't ready for a surprise test.

The professor replied, "Don't worry, this is just a little quiz. It's so little we might even call it a quizzie."

After handing it in, the student retorted, "If that's one of your quizzies, I'd hate to see one of your..." At which point he caught himself.

PS I'm sorry, I'm being so sophmoric, but studing binomial Latin brings out the worst in me. It's like getting all the old jokes, really old jokes. My favorite is Oenothera... LOL As I said sophmoric... yes I know it is not Latin, but it is used in binomial plant names

Don't forget those irregular verbs in Latin:

slippo, slippere, falli, bumpum
spitto, spittere, hoctui, splatum

Speaking of Latin, Slava, here's one for your signature courtesy of Dr. Goodword's Laughing Stock page, specifically the New Feature, Useless Latin Phrases:
Purgamentum init, exit purgamentum.
Garbage in, garbage out.
And while we're on the subject of conjugation:
Clamo, clamatis, omnes clamamus pro glace lactis.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
And I may take this one for a new tagline:
Cogito, ergo doleo.
I think, therefore I am depressed.
I think I've been watching the news too much lately.

It's a little more decorous than the one a Philosophy major back in college had one his jacket:
Caco ergo sum.

While the Latin isn't correct, I also like:

Cogito cogito, ergo cogito sum.

As our junior-year high school English teacher told us while he was handing out a test, "I am the testor, you are the testees."

Well, it was an all-male high school ...
