For some reason I like this word, which has its accent placed lovingly on the penultimate....

Aye, gra-VAY-men does have a weightier tone to it.

So, what is the gravamen of the case against fill-in-the-blank?

Are we getting to the heart of the matter?

to MerriamWebster. We don't seem to be at the
"heart of the matter" yet?
