My favorite oxymoron is visual (and was titled Oxymoron). It was a cartoon of an ox sitting in the back of an ox cart. The caption had the ox remarking, "This is lovely. What makes it go?"
"Time is nature's way of keeping everything from happening all at once. Lately it hasn't been working."
