The Friday before Easter, also know as Great Friday, Holy Friday.

The Friday before Easter, also know as Great Friday, Holy Friday.
I'd never really thought of it before, but I found myself wondering why "good." Let's face it, the guy was crucified then. However, it turns out that good can also mean holy, which I never knew.

I've posted this in another place, but I'll repeat it here:

In the Christian religion, Good Friday through Easter Sunday is the crux of the matter. Palm Sunday through Maundy Thursday deals with the ante-crux.
