Interesting that the stress falls on the "soch." It's making a syllable out of two parts of the word. I'd have put it on the "i" or the "chron." As in Isobar, or isobAric.
Any thoughts on how we might use this in daily speech? If people get divorced, their marriages were isochronal, I suppose, but that's not fun to play with.
