Sgriob
-----please, draw me a sheep-----
Sgriob
Interesting word. It apparently has a number of different meanings in Gaelic, but the basic meaning seems to be "scrape", and hence by extension "scratch" or "itch". In the "whiskey" sense it is short for sgriob drama (compare "dram").
I wonder if sgriob is etymologically related to scrape.
