Dr. Goodword's Choice for February and March

Postby Dr. Goodword » Sun Jan 28, 2007 11:53 am

Here are the words that I think have stories that fit the Good Word series. February is a short month and pretty full of December and January leftovers so these will probably start appearing late in February or early March:

egoist/egotist (Portokalos)
caisson (Skinem)
deportment (Ferrus)
parthenogenesis (Eric Berntson)
bupkis (Sluggo)
skulduggery (Sluggo)
phony (Bailey)
flaunt/flout (Perry)
spurcitious (Grogie)
spumid (Grogie)
pretermit (Ferrus)
denouement (Bailey)
incide (Grogie)
bivouac (Larry Brady)
pusillanimous (Bailey)
greenhorn (Skinem)
expiscate (Bailey)

As always, thanks for your effort and creativity. I think I know everyone for the credits except Portokalos (from "My Fat Greek Wedding"?) and Ferrus.

6 of these never made it, though with a couple it's rather understandable. As to the others, it's up to you folks to renew them, should you wish to.

Vote early, vote often, as the saying goes.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
