Well, this one sure led me on a merry path. Of course, as was the plan, I had to look it up. One definition on dictionary.com was "a decorative trimming of gimp." Okay, got that one, too. But, in the "related" words section I saw claudication. Turns out it's related to another gimp (#3, not #2, which I've never heard, though I live there), but a fun trip nonetheless. Thanks.
