The Shipwreck
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
Re: Group Poem XX
The Shipwreck
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
And the captain said "Aye, 'tis an ominous sign"
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
And the captain said "Aye, 'tis an ominous sign"
Ars longa, vita brevis
Re: Group Poem XX
The Shipwreck
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
And the captain said "Aye, 'tis an ominous sign"
As a rope hit the deck with a clunk.
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
And the captain said "Aye, 'tis an ominous sign"
As a rope hit the deck with a clunk.

When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
And the captain said "Aye, 'tis an ominous sign"
As a rope hit the deck with a clunk.
But a sailor will never give in to the sea
When the crew felt a surge in the strength of the wind
They all knew right away they were sunk
And the captain said "Aye, 'tis an ominous sign"
As a rope hit the deck with a clunk.
But a sailor will never give in to the sea
