If anyone reads this can you please help.
I don't receive the daily word emails any longer.
And I am cut off from receiving notice when
someone posts on a thread I am commenting on.

I had also not been receiving notices of new posts, though I was getting notices of responses. I did a little looking around and found that I had somehow been unsubscribed. If you check the bottom of the first page of the Good Word Discussion forum, you'll see either a Subscribe or an Unsubscribe link. If you see Subscribe, as I did, it means you are not currently subscribed. Just click that link (if it says Subscribe) and that should fix the new post issue. Hope that helps.

Today I am back on, the word of the day just appeared.
I pm'd Doc 18 times to no avail. He even pm'd me telling
me to reregister, which I did. A notice said I'd be informed
when approved. That never arrived.
Today, suddenly I am back on with the word of the day
"vest". We'll see how long this lasts. It's been months.

I just got vest as my first GW in ages, too. A week after re-subscribing.

Now if we could go back to getting e-mail notifications of posts, that would be wonderful.

I'm sorry, Luke. My grandchildren have been visiting for the past 3 weeks and I haven't been able to check the database. I tried once, but my computer is set to go to sleep after 20 minutes and it takes mySQL about an hour to run through the data in my subscriber database. I'll try again tomorrow.
