I found this: glabella
"space between the eyebrows," 1598, Mod.L., lit. fem. of adj. glabellus "without hair, smooth," dim. of glaber "smooth, bald," cognate with O.E. glæd "bright, shining, joyous" (see glad). glabella - a smooth prominence of the frontal bone between and above the eyebrows; the most forward projecting point of the forehead in the midline at the level of the supraorbital ridges.

In the "a rose by any other name" department: Taliesin (Shining Brow) just sounds more...poetic...than "Glabrous" (Shining Head) (?!)cognate with O.E. glæd "bright, shining...
Although Shel Silverstein, Thomas Hardy and Rudyard Kipling (just for starters) might beg to differ...
