nestle

Postby bbeeton » Sat Jul 29, 2023 10:19 am

Interesting news on the radio this morning: More than a hundred pairs of endangered piping plovers are nestling this summer on local beaches.

Well, it's encouraging that they're *nesting*, but I doubt that any but the nestlings are actually nestling; the parents are much too busy looking for food for the young.
