According to my anamnesis, we haven't had this word before.
From answers.com:
n., pl. -ses (-sēz).
1. Psychology. A recalling to memory; recollection.
2. Medicine. The complete history recalled and recounted by a patient.
[Greek anamnēsis, from anamimnēskein, anamnē-, to remind : ana-, ana- + mimnēskein, to recall.]
There's lots more there, I just didn't want to copy the whole page.
From merriam-webster.com:
Etymology:
New Latin, from Greek anamnēsis, from anamimnēskesthai to remember, from ana- + mimnēskesthai to remember — more at mind
Date: circa 1593
1 : a recalling to mind : reminiscence 2 : a preliminary case history of a medical or psychiatric patient

The closest I can find is amanuensis, from 6/13/2005, suggested by Uncronopio, another Lost Soul from the olden days.

One never wants to have an amanuensis with poor anamnesis, except where required. Tell-all memoirs are all the rage, but probably create a lot of rage, especially amongst those whose all hath been told.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
