Trant\, v. i. [Cf. OD. tranten to walk slowly, LG. & D. trant walk, pace.] To traffic in an itinerary manner; to peddle. [Written also traunt.] [Obs.]
I would give a citation for where this is from, but, you know what? It doesn't matter. They all have the same phrasing, except the urban dictionary, which has a completely different meaning. Rather annoying, actually. Why are there so many dictionary sites, if they all say the same thing in the exact same way?

Here's the weird one: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=traunt
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.

If you've got it, traunt it!
