Eyot

Postby Slava » Wed Dec 23, 2009 8:22 pm

A small island in a river.

Pronounced either: I-ut, or ate.

British dialect, but a nice word for stumping people, or your spellchecker. Firefox suggests:

Peyote
Kyoto
Eeyore
Jyoti
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.

Like the "ile" of the French island in the Seine. I like
eyot better. I'd like to have my own little eyot
in some very warm clime, with private beach, ahhhhh!
-----please, draw me a sheep-----
