bibelot

I would like to know more about this word 'bibelot', please, after seeing it. From the pronunciation, I figure that we borrowed it from the French, but I would like to learn its history. Thank you, Dr. Goodword.

Nice suggestion, sardith. I think one could write an entire book on the words we use to describe the little nothings in our lives.

We have to make sure to maintain the French pronunciation, too. If we Americanize it, it sounds like a toper.
