We've had a passel of Good Words submitted, but I aim to add at least one more.

NOUN: Informal A large quantity or group: “The President faces a passel of domestic issues” (Christian Science Monitor).

ETYMOLOGY: Alteration of parcel.

And the word "party" has its roots in same. Very
interesting. Portion/partion. The doctor says
it will be revisited, so you are probably right that
it will be coming soon. Of course we are
discussing it here.
