Shunned? Nah. It is, after all, a very good and valid word. After all, Priapus was the god of fertility in Greek. However, if you are looking for something the Dr. will use, this is not one I'd think would pass muster. Remember, the word list goes out to a lot of other people, not just the half-dozen or so that comment here. Families with children, especially.
