This thread's a blast! :D

But one thing that disturbs me is a hip-hop-inspired tendency of some to use "blahzay-blah" (as it tends to be spelled) in place of "blah-blah," for speech or words not important enough to specify when referring to a conversation (or written material) after the fact. Probably just substituting blasé for blah -- words that can have similar meanings, but they're just using them as syllables without thinking of where it leads...
